Cycling route from Zierikzee to Bruinisse via Noordgouwe and Dreischor along the Grevelingenmeer
This cycling route using the Dutch junction network takes you across Schouwen-Duiveland from Zierikzee to Bruinisse. Along the way you pass villages such as Schuddebeurs, Noordgouwe, Dreischor, Sirjansland and Ouwerkerk.
The route runs through a typical Zeeland landscape of open farmland, quiet country roads and dikes. Along the way you enjoy views of the Grevelingenmeer, the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe.
A highlight is the historic town of Zierikzee, known for its monuments, city gates and harbours. Dreischor is also remarkable: this ring village is considered one of the best preserved villages in the Netherlands. A peaceful and varied bike ride through villages, water landscapes and history.
