Cycling route Oude-Tonge, Den Bommel and Ooltgensplaat – bike ride along the Volkerak on Goeree-Overflakkee

This cycling route using the Dutch junction network follows the shores of the Volkerak on Goeree-Overflakkee. The route passes villages such as Oude-Tonge, Den Bommel and Ooltgensplaat, with wide views over the water, dikes and open polder landscapes.

Starting in Oude-Tonge, you cycle via Zuidzijde towards Den Bommel, where quiet polder roads and open landscapes dominate the scenery. The route then continues to Ooltgensplaat, a characteristic village located directly on the Volkerak.
