Art cycling route via Domburg, Zoutelande and Westkapelle

The peninsula of Walcheren is an unexpected beauty. So much variety in the landscape combined in a beautiful cycling route. And always the sea within reach. Besides the beaches, there are also charming villages and historic places with a rich past. Nature reserves and the countryside — along this cycling route, nature unfolds and lets you enjoy.

And then… suddenly… you didn’t see it coming! You look and look and can’t believe your eyes. What is this? Are you allowed to sit on it? Yes, you are. Sit down and enjoy this unexpected picnic spot and the magnificent view.

Joke de Witte designed the picnic spots. The idea behind them is that tourists are strangers in this environment. These art and coastal picnic spots are also strangers in their surroundings. Strangers experience the landscape differently than locals. They share this experience with the residents, and thus the circle is complete.
